Rodeo returns to the Lahontan Valley next weekend for three days of action.
Battle Born Broncs will kick off Friday with Coffee with the Coaches College Rodeo Recruiting Event followed by Battle Born Next Level Rodeo Athlete Academy. Presented by the City of Fallon in partnership with the Silver Stage Stampede, Coffee with the Coaches runs from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. when athletes of all ages can listen to valuable advice from professional rodeo champions and elite college coaches. There’s no registration or fee for the event, which is open to all ages, students, parents and sponsors.
The Battle Born Next Level Academy, which closed its registration last month, features Champion Living Fitness and Smarty Rodeo.
The Western Market is open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the Rafter 3C Arena, and it features western vendors and artisans. A welcome party featuring live music by The Cash Prophets is at 6 p.m.
Saturday begins with the Fallon high school rodeo at the Fairview Outdoor Arena at 8 a.m. Admission is free. This will be the first year since the event started in 2022 that the complex will be shared with the high school rodeo team.
The Western Market continues from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Rafter 3C Arena before doors open at 5 p.m. for the Battle Born Broncs - PRCA Xtreme Broncs. A VIP and contestant dinner, cowboy calcutta and benefit auction are at 6 p.m. followed by the fourth annual Battle Born Broncs event at 8 p.m.
On Sunday, the high school rodeo continues at 8 a.m. alongside the Western Market from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
