The annual Best of Carson City awards open for nominations Thursday.
Much like a primary election, nominations are an important process in being selected the Best of Carson City 2025.
Nominations will be accepted between Thursday, May 1 and Sunday, May 18 at bestofcarsoncity.com.
To nominate, go to bestofcarsoncity.com and write in your favorites in the various categories.
People can nominate more than one business but can only nominate in each category once per day. Nominations are allowed daily.
A nomination doesn’t guarantee a person or business will make it to final voting.
We will be taking only the top nominated people and businesses into the voting finals — so nominations are as important as final voting. Think of it as a primary election.
Once the nominations are tallied, there is about a three-week window to vote for the finalists. Voting will take place from June 4-June 22.
The Best of Carson City will be celebrated Aug. 22 at the Casino Fandango. The results guide will be published Aug. 23.
