Yerington residents face drug, weapons charges, LCSO says

Three Yerington residents and a Sparks resident were arrested Saturday on drug and weapons charges, according to the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office.

LCSO deputies served a search warrant Saturday evening at a residence on Palomino Avenue in Yerington. A news release said deputies encountered multiple subjects inside the house, identified as:

• Chazz Nevin, 45 years old, of Yerington

• Laura Kramer-Stanton, 45, Yerington;

• Susan Saavedra, 58, Yerington.

Deputies also arrested 58-year-old Sparks resident Randy Spoon.

During the search, deputies located a stolen Glock pistol, a large amount of cash, and one pound of methamphetamine.

All of the suspects were booked into the Lyon County Jail, their bail and charges are:

Spoon – Bail $137,280. Charges: Trafficking controlled substance; two charges of possession of controlled substance; possession of controlled substance for purpose of sale; two charges of possession of drug paraphernalia; possession of stolen firearm; prohibited person in possession of a firearm.

Nevin – Bail: $36,140. Charges: Possession of a controlled substance; possession of drug paraphernalia; conspiracy to commit Uniform Controlled Substance Act; prohibited person in possession of a firearm.

Krammer-Stanton – Bail: $30,000. Charges: Conspiracy to commit Uniform Controlled Substances Act; prohibited person in possession of a firearm.

Saavedra – Bail: $30,000. Charges: Conspiracy to commit Uniform Controlled Substances Act; prohibited person in possession of a firearm.
