Will the Fallon Police Department hold the title for the second year, or will the Churchill County Sheriff’s Office stick its best vein forward to win the 2025 Battle of the Badges?

The men in blue regained the title last year by donating 96 droplets compared to the CCSO’s 80 droplets.

The annual rivalry is Tuesday and Wednesday from 9.am.-3 p.m. at the Fallon Convention Center. Those who volunteer will receive a T-shirt and be entered to win a car. Vitalant hosts the annual Battle of the Badges Blood Drive Campaign, and it comes at a critical time where one donation can save up to three lives.

Vitalant hosts a number of Battle of the Badges Blood Drive campaigns throughout Northern Nevada. The group of Ladies Behind the Badge help organize the annual blood donation. Donors primarily come from the specific law enforcement agency to donate blood, but community members may also donate blood and designate the agency of their choice to receive credit for the blood.
