Minden native Sullivan Cauley upset the heavily-favored Phil Davis by unanimous decision (29-28, 30-27, 30-27) Friday night in the PFL light heavyweight tournament semifinals.
Cauley went into the match at roughly a +350 underdog and went the full 15 minutes for the first time in his professional MMA career.
He now holds an 8-1 record with seven wins by knockout.
His next opponent will be Antonio Carlos Jr., who defeated Simeon Powell by unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28).
