Carson High School senior Addison "Addy" Morgan is a shining example of how grit and determination lead to both personal success and the inspiration of others. Ranked in the top 35 of her highly competitive class, Morgan has maintained an impressive 4.5 grade point average while completing 10 Advanced Placement and Honors courses. Her academic excellence has earned her a four-year academic varsity letter and a three-year recognition as a Nevada All-State Academic Team member for soccer.

Beyond the classroom, Morgan is a fierce competitor on the soccer field. She attributes much of her athletic and personal growth to the mentorship she received from older teammates when she first joined the team as a freshman. Now a leader herself, Morgan has served as a team captain during her junior and senior years, fostering a culture where girls support one another. Her talent and leadership have earned her All-League First Team Midfielder honors for three consecutive years. In addition to soccer, Morgan has competed in CHS track and field and played for the Reno Apex Soccer Club.

Addy’s commitment to her community extends beyond sports. She has volunteered as a CHS Blue Crew member, welcoming and mentoring incoming students, and has worked as a summer camp counselor for Carson City Recreation, guiding and inspiring elementary school children. Her ability to uplift those around her is a testament to the values instilled in her by her family. As the youngest of three children, with two older brothers in college, Addy has grown up witnessing the impact of service. With her mother working as a pediatric nurse and her father serving as a high school teacher and dean, Addy has seen firsthand the importance of mentoring the next generation with kindness, love and compassion.

Known for her quick wit and unwavering support for her peers, Addy is truly one of the kindest young people at CHS. Her hard work has earned her the opportunity to continue her soccer career at Bushnell University in Oregon, where she plans to study education and become a future educator. With her leadership, resilience and heart for others, Addy Morgan is sure to make a lasting impact both on and off the field.
