The Oasis Academy baseball and softball teams began the league season on the right foot last weekend, sweeping Incline.

The baseball team defeated the Highlanders, 8-1, last Tuesday in Carson City before sweeping the doubleheader, 14-8 and 8-1, in Fallon on Saturday. After going 1-3 in a preseason Lovelock tournament, the softball team easily dispatched the Highlanders with a 20-0 win Tuesday in Carson City and wins of 15-0 and 19-2 on Saturday in Fallon.

The baseball team is back in action this week, hosting Sierra Lutheran on Saturday for a doubleheader. The softball team is off until March 21-22 when it hosts Battle Mountain in a three-game series in Fallon.
