Kailee and Kedre Luschar have both been staples in the lineup for the Oregon Ducks softball team this spring.
Kailee remains one of the biggest stolen-base threats in the country with 35 steals, the second-most in the country and most in the Big Ten.
At the plate, Kailee is hitting .381 in 105 at-bats with a .463 on-base percentage.
Meanwhile, Kedre has the third-highest OPS (1.142) on the team.
Kedre has a team-high nine doubles, two triples, two home runs and 23 RBIs while swiping 14 bases of her own. Kedre owns a .439 batting average.
Oregon is up to No. 6 in the latest NCAA Top 25 poll with a 29-3 record.

REID, SOU MAKE NAIA QUARTERSÂ
Southern Oregon University’s men’s basketball team was this season’s Cinderella, going into the NAIA tournament as an 11-seed.
The Raiders knocked off sixth-seeded Montana Tech, 84-81, in the first round before downing third-seeded The Masters (Calif.), 76-71, in the second round.
In the Sweet 16, Southern Oregon defeated seventh-seeded Kaiser (Fla.), 83-79.
The three consecutive wins put the Raiders into the quarterfinals against their region’s No. 1 seed, Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.).
Freed-Hardeman, who won the 2024 NAIA national championship, ended Southern Oregon’s run with a 69-56 final.
Douglas High alum Theo Reid appeared in eight games with the Raiders as a redshirt freshman this season. Reid had 13 points, 13 rebounds and two blocks in 57 minutes on the floor.

TRETTON, IOWA UPSET NO. 5 UCLA
Iowa freshman and former Douglas star Talia Tretton made the most of her March 23 start against No. 5 UCLA.
Tretton pitched 4.1 innings with five strikeouts and two earned runs while going 1-for-2 at the plate in a 7-4 win over the Bruins.
It marks the highest ranked win for Iowa in a decade, according to HawkeyeSports.com.
The Douglas alumna has thrown 73.1 innings and has a 3.05 ERA with 62 strikeouts.
At the plate, Tretton is hitting .245 with 12 RBIs and a .408 slugging percentage.
Iowa is 21-9 this season.

NATIVIDAD HAS HOT BAT AT WINTHROP
Douglas High graduate Gabe Natividad is one of the Big South Conference’s top players this spring, posting a .313 batting average in 26 games.
Natividad is second on the team in hits (30), with three doubles, three triples, two home runs and 16 RBIs.
His 30 hits also rank him inside the top 20 in the conference.
He’s posted a .469 slugging percentage in his 96 at-bats and has 11 walks to just 14 strikeouts at the plate.

ADIE NAMED ACADEMIC ALL-AMERICAN
Douglas graduate Sage Adie was named as a National Wrestling Coaches Association academic All-American as a freshman at Pacific University.
As a program, Pacific was one of 30 schools with a cumulative GPA over 3.5.
