At The Chateau at Gardnerville, each month is a chance to brighten the day of its residents with simple, yet meaningful touches.

One such touch is the weekly delivery of flowers from Megan Jaramillo at In Full Bloom, a local florist in Carson Valley. These flowers make their way to the community’s dining room tables, adding a bit of nature and color to the space.

But the beauty doesn’t stop there. Every third Friday, at 9:30 a.m., residents gather for a “Create Your Own Flower Bouquet” event. This hands-on session allows everyone to select favorite blooms, arrange them into a bouquet, and take them to their apartment.

Alongside the flowers, The Chateau hosts a rotating line-up of performers for their weekly Happy Hour event. The Carson Valley Ukulele Group are frequent performers.
