TAHOE-CARSON SPEEDWAY is seen from about 1,000 feet altitude looking south. The one-third mile banked asphalt track was completed in August 1964 and has been rate a great success under the ownership of Bjarne Pederson, ‘Spin Out’ Meyer and James Owen. Bleacher seats are to the right of the track. Pit area and entrance road are at the left. The track, infield and parking lots are clean and well maintained. These factors coupled with good racing under promoter Ted Walker as brought the track into the national speed sport spotlight.
