Stand Tall students from Lyon County celebrate Nevada Clean Indoor Air Act

Representatives from Stand Tall attended the Nevada Clean Indoor Air Act anniversary celebration at the Governor’s Mansion. High school student Cimberlyn Andrus talked about the importance of awareness of the health effects of tobacco use and second hand smoke. Other Stand Tall members present were Ileen Tracy, Linnea Sutton, and Ann Marie Fimby of Silver Stage High School; Destiny Gilbert and Jacob Pry-Were from Dayton High School; Christina Hegstad and Kevin Smith from Yerington High School and Savannah Clark and Kennedy Lyon-Lindersmit from Fernley High School. Kathy McIntosh and Tammy Sutton, certified community health workers with Healthy Communities, also attended.
