What I do: We do collision repair, customization and restoration on vehicles. I do office work and some body work. I’m still in training.

Family: My husband, Billy, and brother, Jeff Hixson, are the other owners. I have four children aged 4-9.

My most memorable business experience: I day I got my license. This is our first business venture. It took us from August to this February to get licensed.

Reason for opening the business: We wanted to be able to do something that we feel good about. When you fix someone’s car it feels great to accomplish that.

The first dollar I ever made: Baby-sitting.

My inspiration: My kids. I want to do something they can be proud of and that will be around when they are older.

Cars we own: My husband has a Honda Civic. I’m fixing a 1972 Chevy Nova. My brother is fixing his Dodge Stealth.
