SNMG marketing leader promoted
Lynette Cameron will serve as the director of audience engagement and marketing for the Sierra Nevada Media Group, the company announced earlier this month.
Cameron served as the newspaper group’s regional market development director, and in her new role she will help develop audiences across all platforms, including print, direct mail, web and e-mail efforts, in addition to managing marketing efforts for the group.
“I think it’s only natural that we merge our print marketing and our online marketing efforts,” Cameron said.
Cameron, who came to the media group three years ago, has held similar positions with Wisconsin and Minnesota newspapers.
The Nevada Appeal is one of seven newspapers and associated Web sites with the Sierra Nevada Media Group, which is owned by Carson City-based Swift Communications.
