Man suffers non-life threatening injuries in crash at Carson City Airport
The pilot of a 1973 Bellanca plane was taken to Renown Regional Medical Center after the plane crashed while attempting to take off Wednesday afternoon.
CareFlight took the man with non-life threatening injuries to Renown for evaluation.
Carson City Sheriff’s deputies were investigating after they believe the plane had a malfunction during take off.
The crash was reported about 12:50 p.m. The fixed wing single-engine plane is registered out of Kingman, Arizona
The airport has been closed and the Federal Aviation Administration is reporting to the scene to investigate.
