Carson City Sheriff’s Log: Man arrested after attempting to flee
The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.
At 3:40 p.m., a 34-year-old Carson man was arrested on suspicion of a variety of traffic charges after the arrest report said he was clocked at 73 mph in a 45 zone on north Carson Street. When the deputy activated the lights on his motorcycle, the report said the man accelerated through a red light at Medical Parkway and turned onto Silver Oak. He stopped the truck and fled on foot but returned after his girlfriend, who he left behind, called his cellphone and asked him to come back. He was charged with reckless driving, attempting to elude capture, driving with a suspended license and running a red light. Bail was set at $1,540.
