Carson City Sheriff’s Log: Man arrested for saying he’s Jesus Christ, threatening to kill
The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.
• At 8:29 a.m., a 23-year-old was arrested for allegedly threatening a woman at a residence on Cascade. He was also arrested on suspicion of violating conditions of a suspended sentence and contempt of court. Total bail was set at $4,000.
• At 10:28 p.m., a 42-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of possession of meth after deputies were called to Dotty’s on Highway 50 East for a report of a possible drug transaction. The 51-year-old man with her was arrested on suspicion of violating conditions of his alternative sentence. Her bail was set at $3,500 for drug and paraphernalia possession. His was set at $3,000.
• At 1:33 a.m., a 31-year-old Carson man was ordered held for mental examination after telling deputies he was Jesus Christ and threatening to kill people, saying deputies would be “responding to a blood bath.” He was also arrested on suspicion of possession of a small amount of marijuana. The Legal 2000 hold for a mental exam requires a judge’s permission to release a suspect from custody.
