Carson City Sheriff’s Log: Man arrested on suspicion of battering a woman

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

MONDAY

• At 3:35 p.m., a 58-year-old Reno man was arrested on suspicion of DUI-first offense after deputies were called to the Maverick Convenience Store on College Parkway for a report of an intoxicated driver. The reporting party said the man was urinating on a gas pump at the station. Bail was set at $1,000.

• At 10:42 p.m., Kris Kaecker, 26, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of battering a woman at her home on Snyder. He allegedly forced his way into the residence when she opened the door, argued with another person there, then went outside, but forced the door open again and shoved her back into the house. He was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery-second offense, felony home invasion and a probation violation. Bail was set at $33,000.
