Carson City Sheriff’s Log: Man arrested on suspicion of drug paraphernalia
The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.
• At 12:56 a.m., a 33-year-old transient was jailed after deputies were called on a report of an intoxicated subject at Mills Park. A breath test indicated he was nearly three times the legal limit and was taken into custody for Civil Protective Custody. He was arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia after a pipe was found on his person. Bail was set at $1,000.
• At 1:05 p.m., a 64-year-old Carson woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI-first offense after a caller reported an intoxicated person trying to drive away from Telegraph and Plaza. Bail was set at $1,000.
• At 10:41 a.m., a 53-year-old Carson woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI-first offense after running her car into the wall of a business on Highway 50 East. She was also arrested on suspicion of destruction of property, driving on a suspended license and resisting arrest. Total bail was set at $2,250.
