Carson City Sheriff’s Log: Man arrested on suspicion of multiple drug offenses
The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.
• At 8:56 a.m., a 25-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery after witnesses reported him getting physical with a woman outside I Storage on Highway 50. According to the arrest report, the deputy saw him aggressively grabbing her clothing as he arrived at the scene. He was booked in lieu of $3,000 bail.
• At 12:32 a.m., Edward William Tucker, 42, was arrested on suspicion of multiple drug offenses following a traffic stop at Highway 50 East and Lompa Lane. An exterior search of the vehicle by a K-9 allegedly turned up drugs and paraphernalia. Tucker was charged with felony possession of drugs without a prescription and possession of a controlled substance. He was also charged with possession of paraphernalia, possession of marijuana and possession of a dangerous weapon — a billy club. In addition, he faces a contempt charge. Total bail was set at $9,600.
