Carson City Sheriff’s Log: Two arrested on suspicion of possession of meth
The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.
• At 2:35 p.m., a 24-year-old was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery on his sister and battery on her fiancé after reportedly becoming upset when she told him she was pregnant. He was held in lieu of a total $4,000 bail.
• At 2:44 a.m., two people from Dayton were arrested on suspicion of possession of meth and drugs without a prescription following a traffic stop at Curry and Telegraph streets. According to the arrest report, a K-9 search of the vehicle revealed a baggie with a crystalline substance identified as meth and several pills. Michael Palomo, 37, and Rebecca Reitman, 29, were both charged with possession and held in lieu of $5,000 apiece.
