Carson City Sheriff’s Log: Woman arrested on DUI drug charge after vehicle hits motel
The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.
At 2:20 p.m., a 32-year-old Carson man was charged with domestic battery for allegedly hitting and kicking his girlfriend in a dispute at a residence on Corbett Street. Bail was set at $3,000.
At 5:59 p.m., a 66-year-old Carson man was charged with domestic battery after a witness reported he and his wife arguing in a car and seeing him grab and shake her. Bail was set at $3,000.
At 8:03 p.m., a transient was arrested for trying to use his deceased brother’s name when asked for identification by a deputy. He was booked in lieu of $5,000 on a felony count.
At 8:17 p.m., a 23-year-old Carson woman charged with DUI-first (drugs) after her vehicle ran into the wall of the Super 8 Motel on south Carson Street. She was also charged with failure to maintain a lane, no proof of insurance and felony parole violation. She was held without bail.
