Carson City Sheriff’s Office: Man arrested on hit and run. DUI

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

THURSDAY

At 4:56 p.m., a 48-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of DUI after deputies responded to an injury accident near William Street and Oxby Loop. Bail was set at $1,000.

At 5:19 p.m., a 32-year-old Carson City man was arrested for a warrant after deputies initiated a stop on a bicycle that failed to stop at a stop sign and nearly caused a crash near Northridge and Russell. Bail was set at $500.

FRIDAY

At 1:39 a.m., a 40-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of DUI and hit and run after deputies responded to reports of a hit and run accident near Highway 50 and Lompa. Deputies found the vehicle a short time later in a ditch next to SlotWorld. Bail was set at $1,500.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes. Carson City Secret Witness will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals committing crimes. Anyone with information is asked to call 775-322-4900.
