Carson City Sheriff’s Office: Man arrested on suspicion of solicitation for money

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

THURSDAY

At 1:46 p.m., a 21-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of solicitation for money and two counts of contempt of court after deputies responded to reports of a man asking people for money at the Market Street Walmart. Bail was set at $6,500.

At 5:10 p.m., a 30-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of battery after deputies responded to reports of a woman throwing things at another person near the 200 block of Carson Meadows. Bail was set at $1,000.

At 10:01 p.m., a 25-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of violation of a suspended sentence after deputies responded to reports of an unwanted subject near the 300 block of Agate. Bail was set at $1,000.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes.
