Carson City Sheriff’s Office: Woman arrested on suspicion of felony forgery warrant

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.


At 5:14 p.m., a Carson City woman was charged with DUI-first, drugs, after deputies were called to the Taco Bell on Highway 50 for a report of an apparently intoxicated driver. Bail was set at $1,000.

At 12:28 p.m., a Reno couple was arrested at Walmart after security reported video-taping them removing a number of items from the store in two separate visits. According to the arrest report, the items found in their vehicle had a total value of $2,053 along with $87.50 worth of security devices that had been removed from store items. Eduardo Salazar-Lopez, 29, and Mallory Soltani, 32, were arrested on suspicion of felony grand larceny and possession of stolen property. She also was charged with a parole violation. He was charged with possession of burglary tools and two counts of contempt of court. She was ordered held without bail on the parole violation. He was held in lieu of $54,000 bail.

At 9:49 p.m., Martin Schultz, 47, of Silver Springs was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of meth after a traffic stop in the 1400 block of College Parkway for driving erratically and not maintaining a travel lane. He was also charged with possession of a prescription drug without a prescription, possession of marijuana and paraphernalia as well as the traffic violation. Total bail was set at $9,150.


At 3:21 a.m., Kiley Bryant, 20, was arrested on suspicion of two felony and one misdemeanor count after a suspicious vehicle check at Maverick on College Parkway. She was arrested on a felony forgery warrant and for violating a suspended sentence. She was also charged with felony false ID for initially identifying herself as her sister. Total bail was set at $18,000. In the same incident, Ian Bower, 25, arrested on suspicion of a felony possession of controlled substance and possession of paraphernalia after a drug dog sniffed out a quantity of meth in his truck. He was also charged with possession of imitation controlled substances and bail set at a total of $4,912.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes.
