Man arrested on suspicion of felony eluding, Carson City Sheriff’s Office says

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.
At 3:47 p.m., a 36-year-old Gardnerville woman was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia after she was cited for littering when a deputy saw her throw a box out the window of her car. After she allegedly became argumentative, she was instead arrested. The meth pipes were found during a following search of her person. Total bail was set at $1,500.
At 5:18 p.m., a 36-year-old woman was arrested on a series of misdemeanor violations after rear-ending another vehicle at Carson and Third streets. She was charged with following too closely, driving without a valid license, no insurance and driving with a suspended registration. The woman was also held on a failure to appear warrant issued by Reno Justice Court for most of the same charges. Total bail was set at $2,285.
At 7:29 p.m., a 24-year-old Carson man was arrested on charges of reckless driving and no valid driver's license. The deputy stopped him after hearing a car engine revving and tires screeching on Brown Street. The defendant was jailed in lieu of $300 bail on the two misdemeanor charges.
At 10:29 p.m., Marc Gonzales, a 28-year-old transient, was booked on multiple charges after a traffic stop at Roop and Adams. He was held without bail on a felony failure to appear warrant charging him as an ex-felon in possession of a firearm and assault with a deadly weapon. He also faces two other FTA warrants and a charge of driving on a suspended license.

At 12:39 a.m., Javier Ruben Martinez, 22, of Carson City was booked on charges including felony eluding a peace officer after attempting to avoid a traffic stop. The arresting officer said the blue vehicle first pulled into the parking lot at Remedies but then sped away, driving over a curb and heading north on Stewart in the wrong lane at speeds of up to 80 mph. The vehicle was eventually found abandoned at the dead end of Shenandoah and Lango. There was a pellet gun on the floor of the vehicle. The deputy was directed back to Remedies where a victim reported her vehicle's windows had been shot out. She also accused him of earlier pointing the pistol at her while in the Blue Bull Bar. Martinez was also charged with gross misdemeanors of aiming a firearm at another and destruction of property and with misdemeanor assault. Total bail in his case was set at $10,500.
The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes.
