Public urinater attacks deputies, Carson City Sheriff’s Office says
The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
At 8:45 a.m., Andrew Brunson was arrested on multiple felony counts after deputies responded to an address on Carson Street for a report of some one urinating in public. The arrest report says when approached, he assaulted three deputies with an iron rod, hitting one deputy in the head. He was charged with three counts of battery with a deadly weapon, assault with a deadly weapon and indecent conduct. Total bail was set at $110,500.
At 10:32 p.m., a 28-year-old painter was charged with domestic battery 1st offense after deputies responded to an address on South Pratt for a report of loud noises, yelling and screaming coming from one of the apartments. He was arrested after admitting to preventing his girlfriend from leaving. The arrest report says she had visible injuries. Bail was set at $3,000.
At 12:19 a.m., a 29-year-old machinist was charged with domestic battery 1st offense after allegedly shoving and hitting his fiancé during an argument. At 12:27 a.m., Eva Santa Cruz, 33, and Filliberto Gonzales-Ramirez, 47 were arrested on drug charges after deputies responded to the parking lot of the Jackpot Casino on Edmonds. Their vehicle was searched after deputies saw paraphernalia on the floorboard of the vehicle and a drug dog alerted to the presence of meth. Both were charged with possession of meth and paraphernalia. She was additionally charged with a probation violation, possession of a lock pick and possession of credit cards that didn’t belong to her. Her bail was set at $14,000. His was set at $3,500.
At 3:55 a.m., a 20-year-old was charged with DUI 1st alcohol after a traffic wreck at Lompa and Dori. He was also charged as minor consuming alcohol Bail was set at $3,000. $1,150.
At 1:21 p.m., a 34-year-old was arrested after deputies responded to the scene of a recent fire for a report of some one leaving the location with some property. Dispatch confirmed the driver had four outstanding warrants. He also had several knives on his person and a broken meth pipe. In the vehicle, a bottle of prescription medicine was found. He was also charged with a fictitious vehicle registration and a revoked license. Bail was set at $8,561.
At 8:42 p.m., Monica Davis was charged with battery with a deadly weapon for stabbing a man at the apartment where she was crashing during an argument. The victim had a large cut on his hand from defending himself. Her bail was set at $30,000.
At 10:05 p.m., a 47-year-old mechanic was arrested on four outstanding warrants from Carson City, Dayton and Douglas County as well as unlawful abandonment of a vehicle in Dayton. Bail was set at $2,640.
At 11:01 a.m., a 28-year-old fast food worker was arrested on an outstanding warrant after she was contacted by a deputy and a school resource officer about her son’s chronic absenteeism from school. Her bail was set at $314.
At 8:59 p.m., a 25-year-old Dayton man was arrested at the Pick N Pull on Highway 50 east on an outstanding Carson City charging violation of suspended sentence conditions. Bail was set at $3,000.
At 10:27 p.m., a 29-year-old woman was arrested at a residence on Bourgogne Street for violating alternative sentencing conditions by consuming alcohol. Bail was set at $3,000.
