The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
At 8 a.m., Jennila McDanlei-Schumacher, 41, was charged with burglary and conspiracy to commit burglary for stealing numerous items including jewelry and firearms from the residence of one of her hair salon customers while that person was on vacation in Hawaii. Her bail was set at $27,500.

The victim said she put her keys and purse in a locker at the center but they were gone when she returned and her vehicle was missing as well. The vehicle was spotted near U.S. 50 and Silver State but fled, at one point attempting to hit a sheriff’s motorcycle. After a chase through north Carson City, the vehicle was located near Del Taco and the woman driver was caught at Roop and Hot Springs Road. During her arrest, she gave deputies a false identification and a silver box containing hypodermic needles and a small amount of drugs was discovered. She was charged with false identification to avoid prosecution, possession of paraphernalia, DUI drugs, eluding and assault with a deadly weapon.
At 10:10 p.m., a 24-year-old transient was arrested at the Nugget after attempting to avoid and flee from deputies. He was charged with obstructing and officer and a deferred sentencing violation for being intoxicated.
At 7:30 p.m., two men were arrested after deputies went to an address on Colombia Way. Aaron Hernandez, 26, was found sleeping in a vehicle outside. A drug dog alerted to the presence of a controlled substance and a search revealed a baggie with a small amount of meth and paraphernalia. He was charged with those two crimes and bail set at $3,100. While conducting that investigation, another vehicle arrived and Jeffrey McManus, 57, exited the vehicle and quickly went inside the residence. A search of that vehicle revealed a bottle of prescription pills in the glove box where he was sitting. When deputies interviewed McManus, he tested positive for alcohol and a records check said he was on deferred sentencing with a no alcohol condition. He was charged with possession of the pills and violating the suspended sentence condition. Bail was set at $3,500.
