The lunch menu for the Dayton Senior Center, 320 Old Dayton Valley Road:
Monday: Spaghetti with meat sauce, spinach salad, zucchini, apple, garlic bread.
Tuesday: Beef tips with noodles, mixed veggies, mixed fruit, salad, cookies.
Wednesday: Reuben sandwich, sauerkraut, apricots, macaroni salad, orange juice, rye bread.
Thursday: Lemon pepper fish, minestrone soup, corn, pears, bread with butter.
Friday: Breakfast, 9-10 a.m. – biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, sausage, fresh fruit, hash browns, V8 and orange juice.
The menu for the Silver Springs Senior Center, 1050 Pyramid Way:
Monday: Barbecued Philly steak, onions, peppers, Brussels sprouts, cheese, fruit juice, cherry tarts.
Tuesday: Chicken crepes, cranberry Jell-O salad, spinach, pumpkin brownies, orange.
Wednesday: Pot roast, oven potatoes, carrots, celery and onions, broccoli, mixed fruit, roll with butter.
Thursday: Stuffed potato with meat, sour cream, cheese sauce, green beans, pears, raisin bars.
Friday: Chili relleno, Spanish rice, tortilla chips, refried beans, peaches, mixed veggies, salsa.
The menu for the Fernley Senior Center 1170 W. Newlands DR.:
Monday: Meatloaf, mashed potatoes with gravy, mixed veggies, roll, blushing pears.
Tuesday: Macaroni and cheese with ham, spinach salad, cauliflower, fresh orange.
Wednesday: Spaghetti with meat sauce, salad, cauliflower, garlic bread, orange.
Thursday: Corn-potato chowder, turkey sandwich, carrot-raisin salad, peaches.
Friday: Breakfast, 9:30-10:30 a.m. – sausage and egg muffin, hashbrowns, applesauce, tomato juice.
The Storey County Senior Citizens Center is on the corner of E and Mill streets in Virginia City:
Monday: Baked macaroni and cheese, coleslaw, sliced tomatoes, yogurt with fruit.
Tuesday: Hungarian goulash over spinach noodles, peas and carrots, lettuce-and-tomato salad, bread, ambrosia.
Wednesday: Chicken-fried steak, mashed potatoes with gravy, green beans, pineapple upside-down cake.
Thursday: Baked pork chop, mashed sweet potatoes, steamed green beans, mixed-green salad with french dressing, whole-wheat bread, banana pudding.
Friday: Beans and franks, deviled eggs, fruit salad, cornbread, brownie.
