The following menus are for the week of Dec. 4-8 and subject to change without notice. Choice of beverages is included with meals:

Dayton

The menu for the Dayton Senior Center, 320 Old Dayton Valley Road:

Monday: Sloppy Joes, zucchini, Tater Tots, grape juice, cookies.

Tuesday: Corned beef, carrots, cabbage, potatoes and onion, melon, rye bread, banana pudding.

Wednesday: Meatball stew, cornbread, cabbage, mixed fruit.

Thursday: Pork fajitas, tortilla, stir-fry veggies, Spanish rice, apple, cookies.

Friday: Breakfast, 9-10 a.m. – Waffles with strawberries, scrambled eggs, bacon, V8 and orange juice.

Silver Springs

The menu for the Silver Springs Senior Center, 1050 Pyramid Way:

Monday: Reuben sandwich, macaroni salad, sauerkraut, rye bread, pears.

Tuesday: Chicken Parmesan, spaghetti noodles, broccoli, peaches, garlic bread.

Wednesday: Roast pork, mashed potatoes with gravy, green beans, applesauce, biscuit with butter.

Thursday: Hamburger steak with brown gravy, oven potatoes, cauliflower, mixed fruit.

Friday: Chili relleno casserole, spinach, Spanish rice, spicy pears.

Fernley

The menu for the Fernley Senior Center 1170 W. Newlands Dr:

Monday: Polish sausage, sauerkraut, peas, peaches, rye bread.

Tuesday: Oven-baked chicken, green salad, California-blend veggies, garlic bread, mixed fruit.

Wednesday: Beef stroganoff with noodles, carrots, Mandarin oranges, green salad.

Thursday: Ham and beans, cornbread, spinach, cottage cheese.

Friday: Tuna casserole, zucchini, whole-wheat roll, applesauce.

Storey County

The Storey County Senior Citizens Center is on the corner of E and Mill streets in Virginia City:

Monday: Breakfast casserole, asparagus, whole-wheat bread, sliced peaches.

Tuesday: Beef stew, noodles, garden salad, biscuit, Chantilly fruit cup.

Wednesday: Baked Coca Cola pork chop, Brussels sprouts, cookie.

Thursday: Macaroni and cheese, steamed spinach, french-baked potatoes, whole-wheat bread, strawberries and yogurt.

Friday: Lemon-baked fish, broccoli-stuffed potato, steamed carrots, beet salad, whole-wheat bread, fruit.
