Ensign’s nephew arrested in Vegas for allegedly trying to run over paramedics

The nephew of Sen. John Ensign has been arrested for attempting to run over emergency medical personal and using his vehicle to ram a Las Vegas City Fire truck , a Las Vegas television station is reporting.
According to KLAS-TV 23-three-year-old Eric Ensign has been booked into the Clark County Detention Center on two counts of Attempted Murder, DUI and Tampering/Injury to an Emergency Motor Vehicle.
Police were called to the intersection of Buffalo Drive and Washington Ave. after numerous citizens reported a man slumped behind the steering wheel.
When emergency workers attempted to wake the man, police say, he tried to strike two of the workers with his car and then ran into the fire truck.
