Asian cooking expert appearing at Molly’s Catering

Joyce Jue, cookbook author and Asian cooking expert, will lead classes Friday and Saturday at Molly’s Gourmet Catering, Takeout and Cooking School, 220 W. John St., Carson City. Class starts at 6 p.m. Friday and features Chinese scallion pancakes, Thai pumpkin and coconut milk soup, Singaporean lemongrass salmon and more. Class on Saturday starts at 5:30 p.m. and covers mu shu pork, Thai coconut chicken soup, siu mai dumplings and other dishes. Classes include ingredient handling and proper cooking techniques. Cost is $125 per class (includes dinner and beverages) or $225 for both. Reservation required. Call 841-5511.
