Festival for Heroes to feature Grammy nominated artist
August 21, 2018
Live music by a Grammy nominated country singer is included in the entertainment lineup for Saturday's inaugural Music Festival for Heroes at Living the Good Life.
The Last Response Memorial Fund will benefit from the festival that's hosting Grammy nominee Ty Herndon as well as Elvis tribute artist Clint Ingbretson, Mo'z Motley Blues Band, Canyon White, Wabuska Yachting Club, and Fate Awaits.
The master of ceremonies will be KBUL 98.1's J.J. Christy.
The free event will take place from 2 to 10 p.m. in the parking lot of Living the Good Life, 1480 N. Carson St.
Although the festival is free to attend, donations will be taken for the Last Response Memorial Fund, a nonprofit that raises money for first responders and law enforcement officials seriously injured or killed in the line of duty.
This year, the Last Response Memorial Fund will be making a donation to the Nevada Fire Fighters.
