Carson City Airport Authority has opening

Nevada Appeal staff report

The Carson City Airport Authority is looking for a fixed-base operator member to replace Aaron Collins, who’s moving out of state.

The term goes through October 2020.

The airport authority makes all the operational decisions for the airport.

The board meets at 6 p.m. every third Wednesday of each month at the Sierra Room in the Carson City Community Center, 851 E. William St.

An application for membership can be found online at carson.org/government/boards-committees-and-commissions.

Applications are being accepted through March 21.

Applications, once submitted, are public documents. Applicants are interviewed by the Board of Supervisors during a regularly scheduled meeting.
