Josephine E. Jordan
A visitation for Josephine E. Jordan, 73, a six-year Carson City resident, will be held from 6-8 p.m. today at FitzHenry’s Chapel of Faith.
She died Oct. 27, 2004, at her home.
Ms. Jordan was born April 3, 1931, in Santa Fe, N.M., to Jesus and Sophia Renteria Pallares.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Danville, Ill., where she was a caseworker for the Department of Public Aid for 20 years.
She was a Catholic and a CASA volunteer. Her passion was her grandchildren.
Among her survivors are daughter and son-in-law Michele and Richard Curry of Dayton; sons and daughters-in-law James and Deanetta of Williston, Vt., and Matt and Jill of Redlands, Calif.; brother Joe Pallares of Fairfield, Calif.; granddaughter Chandler Curry of Dayton; and grandsons Jason and Ed of Williston and Shane, Justin, Taylor and Grant of Redlands.
A private family service will be held. FitzHenry’s Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
