Junior Chef club meets

The Junior Chef Club will experiment with different types of bread at 3 p.m. Thursday at the Children’s Museum of Northern Nevada.

Executive chef Joe Grant and Kim Mason, head dietitian with Carson-Tahoe Hospital, will explore how bread rises using yeast, baking soda and other leavening agents. This will be a hands-on experience for all participants. Cost for the class is $4.
