Kinko’s Copies coming to town

Kinko’s, the national chain of copy and business services centers, will open in Carson City about Dec. 20.

Sally King, assistant manager, said Thursday that employees are busy setting up equipment and furnishings and being trained at the 4,000-square-foot shop at 1426 E. William St.

Kinko’s already has a core staff hired, but job applications can be picked up and dropped off there Monday through Fridays between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., King said.

Kinko’s eventually will be open around the clock in Carson City, as at most locations, but will open with reduced hours until the staff is confortable, she said.

The business offers self- and full-service copying including color copies, passport photos, rental computers and Internet access and specialized printing services including business cards, calendars and letterhead.
