Commissioners meet Thursday

The Churchill County Commission will meet Thursday at 8:15 a.m. for its first meeting of August.
The agenda includes the following items:
An application by Eileen Cornwell for a zone change for property located at 5501 and 5545 Reno Highway, a portion of assessor's parcel numbers 00855160 and 00855157, consisting of 10.86 and 6.38 acres and 6.2 an 6.0 acres of surface water rights, in the C1 and E1 land use districts. The applicant is requesting to change the C1 designation on half of both properties to E1, making both properties completely E1 zoning. The properties border the Reno Highway south of Briggs Lane.

First Reading for Bill 2018C, Ordinance 103, an ordinance establishing the procedures and requirements for the consideration of Development Agreements as authorized by NRS 278.0201.
Social Services overview of Resilient Eight Consortium priorities and funding opportunity totaling $200,000 from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Health Resources and Service Administration.
