The Veterans of Foreign Wars is having its annual Easter egg hunt on Saturday.

The hunt begins at 10 a.m. in front of Churchill County Middle School and is for ages 0-3, 4-6 and 7-9.


An Easter egg hunt will be held at Highland Village, 550 N. Sherman St., on Saturday from 10-11:30 a.m.

There will be face painting, games, snacks, and soda pop and coffee. Come find the golden eggs.

Join the annual Easter egg hunt sponsored by the Fallon Lions and the Fallon Kiwanis Club at Laura Mills Park on Sunday. The event starts at 1 p.m.


More than 200 children ages 12 and under will participate in Lahontan State Recreation Area's 20th annual Easter Egg Hunt at 10 a.m. Saturday.

The event — offering a hunt for candy-filled Easter eggs and a raffle for items such as gift certificates, food vouchers, Easter baskets and toys — will be at Silver Springs Day Use Area. To get there, enter from the Silver Springs entrance off of Fir Street.

Admission will be free, and entry into the park will be waived for participants.
