Mrs. T. E. Killgrove says she is glad to be back to Fallon to spend the coldest months of the year. The climate is much milder here than in Elko…A great many Lahontan Valley turkeys were shipped to Reno, and the dealers and consumers say they never saw finer turkeys than those sent from this place…there was a big wedding feast at the Fred Wightman place Thursday evening, Christmas night, when Judge T.A. Jones joined in wedlock R.M. Hicks of Churchill County and Miss H.B. Blakeney of Walla Walla, Washington.

By a mistake of the operator, the "good night" sign was thrown on the screen at the Rex Theatre at the close of the first show Christmas night and the house emptied.
