WNC COMPUTER CLASSES

Western Nevada College Fallon is offering several non-credit basic computer courses this fall through its Community Education Division.

Meets Friday, Nov. 21, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Designed for the true beginner and introduces the student to the role of computers in today's society. Introduces the Internet, email and the operating system. Cost includes book and thumb drive. Cost: $154.
Microsoft Word 2013 Level 1
Meets Monday and Tuesday, Nov. 24 & 25, 2-6 p.m. Students will create, format and edit professional looking documents and learn to perfect documents into a final electronic format. Cost includes book. Cost: $132.

Meets Monday and Tuesday, Dec. 1 & 2, 2-6 p.m. Continuation of Microsoft I course. Students will create, format and edit documents into a final electronic format. Cost includes book. Cost: $132.
Microsoft Excel 2013 Level 1
Meets Friday and Monday, Dec. 5 & 8, Friday hours 2-6 p.m. and Monday hours 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Students will cover different elements of a spreadsheet and learn to navigate around the Excel program. Cost includes book. Cost: $132.
Microsoft Excel 2013 Level 2
Meets Tuesday and Friday, Dec. 9 & 12, Tuesday hours 10 a.m.-2 p.m. and Friday hours are 2-6 p.m. Students will extend their knowledge about the Excel program, and learn how to enhance the look and appeal of workbooks by adding graphics. Cost includes book. Cost: $132.
