9:30 p.m. Chuck Roberts has passed Donna Kristaponis in early returns from Lyon County for the District I commission seat.

8:34 p.m. Storey County has completed its tally with a 92 percent voter turnout.
8:30 p.m. The first results are in for Lyon County.
8 p.m. Early votes are in for Storey County precincts 1 and 2, made up of Virginia City and Gold Hill. Look below for results.
7:02 p.m. At the Storey County fire station in Virginia City, more than 340 people voted by 5 p.m., and about 1,000 had voted early in the county with only about 4,200 residents.
Poll Worker Sue Jones said turnout was steady, but with so many early voters the volunteers were not overwhelmed, and folks took the time to talk a bitt..
“It is a nice steady visit of friends and neighbors, catching up on all sorts of stuff,” she said. “It’s too cold to stand and talk over the fence, so we wait for voting day.”
6:49 p.m. At Dayton High School, poll worker team leader Leslie Sexton said 205 people were lined up by 6:15 a.m., and the early voters were done by 7:30 p.m. She said there were a lot of young voters and many of them had never voted before.
Poll Worker Judy Migan said they have been busy all d.ay.
“We had so many early voters that I thought we wouldn’t be, but we are,” she said.
6:45 p.m. Turnout in Silver City was extremely high, with 91 percent, or 134 people, voting by 6 p.m. Poll worker Sheree Rose said they might have hit 100 percent, except one of their residents went to jail recently.
