Additional office space for Dayton Utilities
DAYTON – Barely a month after moving into larger quarters, Dayton Utilities is again doubling the size of its work place.
County Engineer Dan O’Brien said, “After relocating into the new office and evaluating future needs, it became apparent that providing space for a conference room, plan storage and crew room was needed. With the adjacent office suite being available, we felt it would be best to secure the area before anyone else leased the space.”
The additional 1,119 square feet, combined with the current 1,300 square feet will be leased at a total cost of $2175.30 per month.
According to O’Brien, the office of the Dayton area building inspector will also be relocated to the new space to continue to promote the county’s one-stop-shop process for better customer service.
There is a drive up payment drop box at the new location. The drop box at the former office site on the corner of River and Main streets will also remain in place.
