Brief: Cherry named Fiona’s manager

Bob Cherry has been named manager of Fiona’s Restaurant and Bar at the Carson Valley Inn. Bob has been in the restaurant business virtually his entire life, with a wide range of experience including a major restaurant chain in Sacramento and chef-owner of a successful steak house in Modesto, Calif. Terri Amos was recently promoted to relief supervisors in Katie’s.

In other Carson Valley promotions, Carol Stricklin has been elevated to the position of cage operations supervisor and is now responsible for all the day-to-day operations of the cashier’s cage under cage and credit manager Mark Hanger. At the hotel front desk, Ann Bell has been promoted to swing shift supervisor, Tinna Bobula has been named night auditor and Mary Dalton is now relief shift supervisor.
