Capital Ford gave $6,000 on Monday to the Safe Grad Night for Carson High School graduates. The program, which started in 1988, offers activities on the night after graduation, which includes a trip to Six Flags, the amusement park in Southern California, the following day. The event this year is expected to cost about $40,000, said Brenda Collings, pictured far right, who helped organize the event with Julie Cowan, second to right.
