Carson City, Lyon and Storey county sheriffs’ log 11-26

Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• A 54-year-old construction worker from Carson City was arrested at 4:12 p.m. Tuesday in the 3100 block of Highway 50 East on suspicion of misdemeanor driving on suspended registration, driving without a license, driving without insurance and second-offense drunken driving. Bail was set at $3,526.

• Corey Demont Bynum, 25, an unemployed transient, was arrested at 8:30 a.m. at the Carson City Sheriff’s Office on suspicion of felony burglary, misdemeanor possession of stolen property and obtaining money under false pretenses. Bail was set at $27,000.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:

• Report of a man being dropped off at a friend’s after being “badly beaten” at a bar at 1:45 a.m.

• Coroner call in the 1700 block of Snyder Avenue at 6:31 a.m.

• Two students were arrested at Carson Middle School for fighting at 1:45 p.m.

• Report of tires slashed on a vehicle on Kit Sierra Loop sometime Monday night.

• Report of a purse, containing a controlled substance, found in a casino at 7:09 p.m.

• Three teens were arrested for vandalizing a building on Woodside Drive with graffiti at 10 p.m.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:

• Report of a skateboard stolen from Northgate Drive in Dayton.

• Misdemeanor arrest on Willow Way in Fernley at 9:33 a.m.

• Report of goats shot on Antelope Street in Silver Springs sometime before 10:05 a.m.

• Report of a counterfeit $20 bill passed at a business in Mason Valley at 2:09 p.m.

Storey County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:

• Report of a wallet found on South C Street at 3:12 p.m.
