It’s time for the cast of the Senior Follies to put on their costumes and break into a song.

The live show, full of fun and music, has been a wonderful Carson City tradition since 1996. And this year is no exception.

This year’s theme is, “Follow Your Dreams.” It will be interesting to find out how our seniors will present this theme. They have give us some spectacular shows the past with themes such as “The Best of Broadway,” “Fabulous Forties” and “America the Beautiful.” Everyone said these were great shows. In fact, the shows have been so good additional performance have been added this year.

Unless you have gone to the Senior Follies, you cannot imagine what these “old folks” can do.

For instance, the cast members can dance the Charleston, they can swing, dance the Lindy, Hokey Pokey, the Twist, the Mashed Potato, as well as Jitterbug and compete in classical Waltz competitions. The talent in this area is unbelievable.

Many of our seniors worked in show business before they retired. Their voices are clear and ever so nice to hear. The skits are fun and the comedians are really funny. The people that make up the cast have a great time and the audience has fun watching them. The stars of this show know how to entertain people of all ages. This is a show where you get the benefit of their talent and their willingness to work hard to put on a first-class live show for you.
