A group of 25 sailors spent the past two weekends volunteering their time to assist the Nevada State Prison Preservation Society, the Brewery Arts Center and Carson City Parks and Recreation. When training away from their home base of Virginia Beach, Va., the sailors are a part of the Community Outreach Program. The mayor gave each sailor an honorary citizenship and Assemblyman O’Neill provided a certificate of appreciation.
