Credit union gives to children’s miracle network

Staff reports

Greater Nevada Credit Union employees who sold holiday stockings have helped raise $3,504 for the Children’s Miracle Network

More than 1,700 stockings were sold at $1 apiece. The credit union matched its members’ contributions.

Through the non-profit program, children being treated at Washoe Medical Center, Reno, and Primary Children’s Medical Center, Salt Lake City, will have the most up-to-date life-saving equipment and care facilities available.

Four of the 10 credit union branches are located in eastern Nevada – Carlin, Wendover, Wells, and Ely – and the money raised by those branches was donated to the Primary Children’s Medical Center.
