Daylight savings ood time to check detectors

Staff Reports

The Central Lyon County Fire Protection District reminds residents to change clocks on Saturday and at the same time change the batteries in smoke detectors.

Smoke detectors should be checked twice yearly and a good way to remember is to do it when the time changes occur in the spring and autumn.

Free smoke detectors are available to any resident of Central Lyon County Fire District. If you have no working smoke detectors in your home, you qualify.

Call 246-6209.

It will be time to move the clocks forward an hour on Sunday.
