Doppelgangers remodeling kitchen, adding stage

Doppelgangers will undergo a renovation during the next four months, owner Brad Adams said Monday.

The changes include upgrading the kitchen as well as constructing a stage to host concerts, Adams said.

“The kitchen isn’t large enough to handle all the volume,” Adams said. The brewery recently opened the tap room, a dining area located on its Curry Street entrance.

Adams said customers will be able to order pizza, calzones and salads while the kitchen is remodeled. The bar, brewery and nightclub will continue, too.

“It’s a three phase project and this is a final phase,” Adams said, adding he hopes to attract “big names” to perform at the brewery, restaurant and nightclub once the stage is complete.

Meanwhile, Adams said the hours have changed for Doppelgangers, 302 North Carson St.: 4-9 p.m. Monday-Wednesday and

4 p.m.-2 a.m. Thursday-Saturday.

He said there are pizza and beer specials for Monday Night Football, too.
